一、学校简介

中国石油大学（北京）一校两地（北京、克拉玛依），北京校本部坐落在北京市昌平区，克拉玛依校区位于新疆维吾尔自治区克拉玛依市。学校是教育部直属全国重点大学，先后进入国家“211工程”和“双一流”建设高校行列，建校以来，为国家培养了三十余万名优秀专门人才，被誉为“石油人才的摇篮”。2020年7月和2023年5月，习近平总书记先后给学校克拉玛依校区毕业生和中亚留学生回信，体现了对学校办学追求、成效和贡献的充分肯定。

1. Introduction to CUPK

China University of Petroleum (Beijing) currently possesses two active campuses (Beijing and Karamay). The main campus (CUP) is located in Changping District in Beijing and the Karamay campus (CUPK), a new extension of CUP is located in Karamay City, Xinjiang Uyhur Autonomous Region. CUPK is a comprehensive research university that is directly under the administration of the Ministry of Education of China. As a key university registered in China’s “Project 211” and listed in the “Double First-Class” Project, it is known as the “Cradle of Petroleum Talents” for cultivating over 300,000 excellent professionals. In July 2020 and May 2023, President Xi Jinping replied to letters from graduates who studied at CUPK and Central Asian students at CUPK, which affirms our university’s orientation and aspires us to strive for higher goals.

学校现有石油与天然气工程、地质资源与地质工程2个国家“双一流”学科，工程学、化学、地球科学、材料科学、计算机科学、环境与生态学、社会科学总论、数学8个学科领域ESI排名全球前1%，其中工程学、化学、地球科学进入1‰。克拉玛依校区传承学校70年的深厚办学积淀，立足地处石油石化产业基地的区位优势，以“高层次、应用型、国际化”为人才培养目标，现有本科专业26个、硕士研究生学科专业19个、博士研究生学科专业11个；现有在校本科生8500余人、硕士研究生700余人、博士研究生60余人。

Two disciplines of CUPK, respectively, Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, and Geological Resources and Geological Engineering, have been listed among the national plan of Double First-class initiative disciplines development list. Eight disciplines, respectively, Engineering, Chemistry, Geoscience, Materials Science, Computer Science, Environment and Ecology, General Social Science, Mathematics, have been globally ranked top 1% on ESI. Among them, Engineering, Chemistry, and Geosciences have ranked among the top 1‰. Following seventy years’ tradition of CUP and enjoying its geographical advantage of being at the oil and petrochemical industrial base, Karamay Campus is committed to cultivating high quality, application-oriented engineering talents with international horizon and competence. At present, CUPK offers 26 bachelor’s programs, 19 master’s programs and 11 doctoral programs, enrolling about 8,500 undergraduates, 700 postgraduates and 60 doctoral students.

校区现有教职工771人，其中专任教师593人。全职引进中科院院士1人，有国家级领军人才7人，国家级青年英才2人，国家、自治区等各类人才项目称号达到128人次。现有硕士研究生指导教师104人，博士研究生指导教师26人。

CUPK currently has 771 faculty and staff members, including 593 full-time professors and lecturers. One full-time academician from the Chinese Academy of Sciences has been recruited. There are 7 National Leading Talents, 2 National Young Talents, and a total of 128 recipients of various national and regional talent program titles. Currently, the university boasts a team of 104 master’s degree supervisors and 26 doctoral supervisors.

校区拥有建筑面积近5万平米的“湖景”图书馆，3座学生餐厅，1座多功能的现代化体育馆及多个室外运动场所，留学生公寓配有独立卫浴间、地暖、电视、空调以及完善的家具设施，为学生提供全方位的学习和生活服务。

Karamay campus has a lake-view library of 50,000 square meters, three dining halls, one multifunctional recreational center, and multiple sports fields. The apartment building for the international students is equipped with twin-rooms with bath, floor heating, TV, AC, and furniture.

校区所处的克拉玛依市是世界著名的石油城，是一座经济繁荣、安全宜居的现代化新型工业城市，环境优美，交通便利。克拉玛依市旅游资源丰富，拥有“中国最瑰丽的雅丹”和“中国最值得外国人去的50个地方之一”——世界魔鬼城、“中国最美公路”——独库公路、世界地质奇观——黑油山等景点，让人们在饱览戈壁美景、石油工业奇观之余，感受着现代城市迷人的魅力。

Karamay City, where the campus is located, is a world-famous oil city with beautiful surroundings and convenient transportation and is a modern industrial city with a booming economy and stable society. Karamay is a popular tourist destination, featured by the splendid Yardang Landform National Geopark, the World Devil City rated as one of the top 50 places for foreigners to visit in China, the Duku Highway named as the most beautiful highway in China, and the Black Oil Mountain, a world geologic treasure, etc. Visitors are enchanted by the beauty of Gobi deserts, awed by the splendor of the oil industry, and mesmerized by the charm of the modern city.

二、招生项目

2. Majors and Programs

校区面向各国招收学历生（本科生）和非学历生（汉语进修生/预科生）。

    International students can choose among the following programs:

1. 非学历项目（汉语进修生/预科生）

    (1) Non-degree courses (Chinese language students, preparatory students)

（1）学习年限：1-2年。

（2）项目介绍：本项目旨在提高来华留学生的日常汉语应用能力和学术汉语理解能力，帮助来华留学生深入了解中国文化，提高利用汉语交往和工作的综合能力。

（3）具体目标：汉语零基础学生，经过一年的学习，达到HSK四级180分以上水平，可申请进入校区本科专业学习。

    Duration: 1-2 years

    Overview: This program is specifically designed for international students, aiming to improve their application ability of daily Chinese and their ability to understand academic Chinese, and to help international students deeply understand Chinese culture, master the essentials of communication with Chinese people, and improve the comprehensive ability to communicate with Chinese people and work in China.

    Specific goals: students who go from zero in Chinese to a score of above 180 on the new HSK Band 4 after one year of Chinese language study can take undergraduate courses taught in Chinese.

三、申请条件

1.非中国籍公民，身心健康，能满足在校正常学习和生活。

2.申请本科项目者年龄不超过25岁。

3.高中毕业，获得高中及以上学历学位证明。

4.中文授课项目要求汉语水平达到HSK四级180分以上，录取时HSK成绩不达标者，到校后应进行一学年汉语学习，经考核合格后方可申请进入本科专业学习；英语授课项目要求母语/官方语言为英语，如果申请人来自母语/官方语言为非英语的国家，须达到雅思6.0、托福75或托福Essentials≥8分 (DI Code: C806)考试成绩，或提供两年以上英文授课证明材料。

5.对华态度友好，遵纪守法，无犯罪记录。

3. Admission Eligibility and Qualifications

(1) Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens who are physically and mentally healthy and are able to manage their study and lives at our university.

(2) Applicants for undergraduate programs must be no older than 25 years of age.

(3) Applicants should be high school graduates with a high school (or above) diploma.

(4) For programs taught in Chinese, applicants are required to have a minimum HSK Level 4 score of 180. Those who do not meet the HSK requirement at the time of admission must complete one academic year of Chinese language study upon arrival at the university. They may apply to begin their undergraduate major studies only after passing the required assessment. For programs taught in English, applicants must have English as their native/official language. If the applicant is from a country where English is not the native/official language, they must provide an IELTS score of 6.0, a TOEFL score of 75, or a TOEFL Essentials score of at least 8 (DI Code: C806). Alternatively, they may submit proof of having completed two or more years of education in English.

(5) Applicants should be friendly to China, law-abiding, and have no criminal record.

四、申请流程

4. Application 

（1）在线申请

申请人登录中国石油大学（北京）克拉玛依校区来华留学生在线申请系统（http://cupk.chiwest.cn），注册账号后在线提交申请。

※一个电子邮件地址只能注册一个申请账号，不接受纸质材料或邮件申请。 

（1）Online Application

Applicants can log in the Online Application System for International Students of China University of Petroleum-Beijing at Karamay (http://cupk.chiwest.cn), and register an account, fill in the online forms, and submit the applications.

※One email address can only be used to register one application account. Paper applications or applications sent via email will not be accepted.

（2）提交申请材料

（2）护照签证页（有中国旅居史者须提供所有来华签证页和中国出入境记录的扫描件）

（3）高中及以上学历学位证明原件和中/英文翻译件（如果尚未毕业，请提供“预毕业证明”，并在入学时提交学历学位证明原件和中/英文翻译件）

（4）高中成绩单原件和中/英文翻译件

（5）语言水平证明（HSK成绩单、其他语言水平证明等，汉语进修生/预科生无需提供）

（6）监护人委托证明（仅未满18岁申请人需要）

（7）无犯罪记录证明

（8）外国人体格检查表

（9）当地银行开具的资信证明

（10）原学校出具的转学证明

（11）原学校出具的成绩单

境外新生须提供:1-9;境内转学须提供:1-11。

※申请材料为翻译件的需经公证后提交。

※资信证明：自费学生的资信证明总额度需在25000元人民币以上，要求其本人账户存款存入相应金额至少1个月以上，如是他人账户，需提供申请人与账户所有人关系证明，经当地公证后到当地中国驻外使领馆进行认证后同时提交。

The Applicants are required to submit the following materials through online application process:

(1) Photocopy of your Passport home page

(2) Scanned copies of all China visa pages (For those with a history of travel and residence in China, scanned copies of all visa pages and entry and exit records are required)

(3) High School Diploma and a translated copy in Chinese or English. (If you have not graduated yet, please get in touch with your current school to provide a “certificate” of expected graduation and hand in the High School Diploma and the translated copy in Chinese or English at your enrollment to the university.)

(4) Official transcripts of your grades in high school and translated copies in Chinese or English

(5) Language Proficiency Certificate (HSK transcripts, other language proficiency certificate, etc., not required for Chinese language students and preparatory students)

(6) Guardian Entrustment Certificate (Only for applicants who are under 18 years old)

(7) Non-Criminal Record Certificate

(8) Physical Examination Report

(9) Sponsorship certificate (bank statement of local banks)

(10) Certificate of school transfer provided by your current school

(11) Official transcripts of your grades in your current school

Documents Required for International Freshmen: (1)-(9); Documents Required for Domestic Transfer Students: (1)-(11).

※Translated application materials shall be notarized before submission.

※Financial support statement: for students who will undertake the total cost of the tuition, boarding and living expenses, they need to provide bank statement/bank saving statement within the last one month with a closing balance that demonstrates the guaranteed amount of over 25,000 RMB. If the account belongs to someone else, a proof of relationship with the applicant should be presented after the proof has been notarized at the applicant’s country and authorized by the Chinese Consulate in that area.

3.面试与学业能力测试

通过材料初审的申请者进入面试和学业能力测试环节。具体面试和学业能力测试时间、方式以邮件形式通知。

※申请截止日期：2025年6月30日

Interview and Academic Ability Test

Applicants who pass the initial review of application materials will proceed to the interview and academic aptitude test. The specific schedule and format of these assessments will be notified via email.

  ※ Application deadline is June 30, 2025.

五、录取及报到

我校根据面试和学业能力测试结果，综合考虑申请者情况，择优录取。被录取考生持录取通知书及所有申请材料原件报到，报到日期以录取通知书为准。

5. Admission and Registration

Our university will make admission decisions based on the results of the interview and academic aptitude test, taking into comprehensive consideration the applicant’s overall profile. Admitted students shall register with the Letter of Acceptance and original copies of all application documents. The registration date will be specified in the Letter of Acceptance.

六、收费标准

1. 报名费：400元人民币。

2.汉语进修生/预科生学费：15000元人民币/年。

3.本科生学费：20000元人民币/年（中文授课）；23000元人民币/年（英文授课）。

4.住宿费：9000元人民币/年/人（双人间、独立卫浴）。

5.综合医疗保险费：800元人民币/年。

6. Fees

International students should pay the following fees:

(1) Application fee: 400 RMB.

(2) Tuition for Non-degree programs/Preparatory Chinese language: 15,000 RMB/year.

(3) Undergraduate program: 20,000 RMB/year (instruction language in Chinese); 23000 RMB/year (instruction language in English).

(4) Accommodation: 9000 RMB/year/person (Twin room with bath).

(5) Insurance: 800 RMB/year.

七、奖学金

自治区人民政府奖学金/克拉玛依市政府奖学金：免交学费、住宿费、综合医疗保险费，提供生活补助费1000元/月（按10个月发放）。

学历生可申请奖学金，符合条件且有意申请奖学金者，在申请系统下载并以中文或英文填写《来华留学生奖学金申请表》。学历生汉语预科期间奖学金生活补贴按照70%发放，确认入学为我校本科生后补发剩余奖学金。

※奖学金实行动态管理，年度评审合格方可获得下一年度奖学金。

7. Scholarship

Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Government Scholarship/ Karamay Government Scholarship:

· Tuition fees waived

· Accommodation fees waived

· Comprehensive medical insurance fees waived

· Monthly living allowance of 1,000 RMB (disbursed over 10 months)

Degree-seeking students are eligible to apply for the scholarship，and those who meet the requirements and intend to apply for a scholarship can fill in “The Application Form for Admission (Scholarship) for International Students” in Chinese or English. During the Chinese preparatory program, degree-seeking students will receive 70% of the scholarship living allowance. The remaining scholarship will be paid after they are confirmed as undergraduate students at our university.

※ Scholarship is subject to strict evaluation. Only those who pass the year-end evaluation can be awarded the following year’s scholarship.
