一、比赛介绍
“外研社·国才杯”全国英语演讲、写作、阅读大赛是由外语教学与研究出版社和教育部高等学校大学外语教学指导委员会、教育部高等学校英语专业教学指导分委员会联合举办的公益大赛，是大学生展现风采、实现自我的广阔舞台，也是外语教育领域凝聚创新、融通中外的交流媒介。因其权威性与专业度，演讲大赛被纳入教育部高等教育学会发布的“中国高校创新人才培养暨学科竞赛排行榜”。
二、校内选拔赛时间及题目
1.英语写作比赛（线上）
时间：2021年10月16日9:00-11:00
题目：赛题为议论文写作1篇（500词左右）、说明文 / 应用文写作1篇（300-500词），写作时间共120分钟。
2.英语阅读比赛（线上）
时间：2021年10月16日14:00-15:50
题目: 题型包含客观题和主观题，即Read and Know，Read and Reason，Read and Question，三个模块，答题时间为150分钟。
3.英语演讲比赛（线下）
分为大学英语组和英语专业组。
比赛时间：2021年10月15日 20:00
题目：（1）定题演讲：以大赛组委会公布的定题演讲题目进行3分钟英语演讲。
（2）回答问题：由提问评委就选手定题演讲内容提两个问题，选手回答时间为每个问题1分钟。
定题演讲稿件要求：
选手按照 2021年“外研社•国才杯”全国英语演讲大赛定题演讲题目（视频），可自拟题目，阐述观点。每位选手演讲时间为 3 分钟。

2.英语演讲比赛

报名时间：2021年9月28日-2021年10月9日
注：演讲比赛稿件为第一轮筛选，在英语专业组和非英语专业组中分别选出前20%的同学参加正式比赛。
演讲稿筛选评判标准：
Organization (40%): | Is the purpose of the speech clear? Does the introduction part successfully gain the attention of your audience? Does it clarify the purpose? Are the main ideas easily identifiable? Do the main ideas follow a consistent pattern? Do you use good transitions? Does the conclusion part summarize the key ideas? Does it close the speech on a high note? |
Content (30%): | Does it show that the you seem to understand the topic? Do you have clear and positive statement? Have you offered enough information to make the key ideas or points of the speech understandable? Have you considered the audience’s interest, knowledge, and attitude? |
Language (30%): | Are there any grammatical errors? Is the language precise? Are the words specific and concrete? |
