1.学校简介

中国石油大学（北京）一校两地（北京、克拉玛依），北京校本部坐落在北京市昌平区，克拉玛依校区位于新疆维吾尔自治区克拉玛依市。学校是教育部直属全国重点大学，先后进入国家“211工程”和“双一流”建设高校行列，建校以来，为国家培养了三十余万名优秀专门人才，被誉为“石油人才的摇篮”。2020年7月和2023年5月，习近平总书记先后给学校克拉玛依校区毕业生和中亚留学生回信，体现了对学校办学追求、成效和贡献的充分肯定。

1. Introduction to CUPK

China University of Petroleum-Beijing (CUPB) currently possesses two active campuses: the main campus in Changping District, Beijing, and the Karamay campus (CUPK) in Karamay City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. CUPK serves as an extension of CUPB and is a comprehensive research university directly administered by the Ministry of Education of China. Recognized as a key national university, CUPB is part of China’s “Project 211” and the “Double First-Class” initiative. Since its establishment, the university has trained over 300,000 highly skilled professionals, earning the reputation of the “Cradle of Petroleum Talents.” In July 2020 and May 2023, President Xi Jinping replied to letters from graduates at CUPK and international students from Central Asian countries at CUPB, affirming our university’s academic mission and inspiring us to pursue greater achievements.

学校现有石油与天然气工程、地质资源与地质工程2个国家“双一流”学科，工程学、化学、地球科学、材料科学、计算机科学、环境与生态学、社会科学总论、数学、物理学9个学科领域ESI排名全球前1%，其中工程学、化学、地球科学进入1‰；现有14个一级学科博士点，22个一级学科硕士点，16个硕士专业学位类别。克拉玛依校区传承学校70余年的深厚办学积淀，立足地处石油石化产业基地的区位优势，以“高层次、应用型、国际化”为人才培养目标，现有本科专业27个、硕士研究生学科专业20个、博士研究生学科专业17个；现有在校本科生9800余人、硕士研究生900余人、博士研究生100余人。

CUPK currently offers two academic disciplines included in the national “Double First-class” initiative – Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, and Geological Resources and Geological Engineering.. It also ranks in the top 1% globally in nine subject areas in the ESI (Essential Science Indicators), including Engineering, Chemistry, Geoscience, Materials Science, Computer Science, Environment and Ecology, General Social Science, Mathematics, Physics. Among them, Engineering, Chemistry, and Geosciences have ranked among the top 1‰.The university currently offers 14 first-level discipline doctoral programs, 22 first-level discipline master’s programs, and 16 professional master’s degree programs. Following the university’s 70-year tradition and enjoying its geographical advantage of being at the oil and petrochemical industrial base, Karamay Campus is committed to cultivating high quality, application-oriented talents with international horizon and competence. At present, CUPK provides27 bachelor’s programs, 20 master’s programs and 17 doctoral programs, enrolling about 9,800 undergraduates, 900 master’s students and 100 doctoral students.

校区现有教职工781人，其中专任教师535人。全职引进中科院院士1人，有国家级领军人才8人，国家级青年英才3人，国家、自治区等各类人才项目称号达到157人次。现有硕士研究生指导教师189人，博士研究生指导教师38人。

CUPK currently has 781 faculty and staff members, including 535 full-time professors and lecturers. One full-time academician from the Chinese Academy of Sciences has been recruited. There are 8 National Leading Talents, 3 National Young Talents, and a total of 157 recipients of various national and regional talent program titles. Currently, the university boasts a team of 189 master’s supervisors and 38 doctoral supervisors.

校区拥有建筑面积近5万平米的“湖景”图书馆，3座学生餐厅，1座多功能的现代化体育馆及多个室外运动场所，留学生公寓配有独立卫浴间、地暖、电视、空调以及完善的家具设施，为学生提供全方位的学习和生活服务。

CUPK has a lake-view library of 50,000 square meters, three dining halls, one multifunctional recreational center, and multiple sports fields. The international student dormitories are equipped with private bathrooms, floor-heating system, television, air conditioning, and modern furniture and facilities, providing students with comprehensive services for their learning and daily life.

校区所处的克拉玛依市是世界著名的石油城，是一座经济繁荣、安全宜居的现代化新型工业城市，环境优美，交通便利。克拉玛依市旅游资源丰富，拥有“中国最瑰丽的雅丹”和“中国最值得外国人去的50个地方之一”——世界魔鬼城、“中国最美公路”——独库公路、世界地质奇观——黑油山等景点，让人们在饱览戈壁美景、石油工业奇观之余，感受着现代城市迷人的魅力。

Karamay City, where the campus is located, is a world-famous oil city with beautiful surroundings and convenient transportation. It is a modern, emerging industrial city that is economically prosperous, safe and livable. Karamay is a popular tourist destination, featured by the splendid Yardang Landform National Geopark, the Scenic Area of World Ghost Town of Karamay rated as “One of the top 50 Must-Visit Places for Foreigners in China”, Dushanzi-Kuqa Highway named as the “Most Beautiful Highway in China”, and the Black Oil Mountain, a world geologic treasure, etc. Visitors are enchanted by the beauty of Gobi deserts, awed by the splendor of the oil industry, and mesmerized by the charm of this modern city.

校区面向各国招收来华留学硕士研究生，开设招生专业、授课语言及学制见下表：

2. Admission Programs

CUPK recruits international graduate students for Master’s programs from countries around the world, whose enrollment majors, language of instruction, and normative study period are listed in the table below:

3.申请条件

（1）非中国籍公民，身心健康，能满足在校正常学习和生活。

（2）年龄不超过35岁且具有本科及以上学历。

（3）汉语授课要求为HSK 五级≥180分；英语授课的专业要求母语/官方语言为英语，如果申请人来自母语/官方语言为非英语的国家，须达到雅思 6.5、托福 80 或托福 Essentials≥9 分 (DICode: C806)考试成绩，或提供两年以上英文授课证明材料。

（4）报考翻译专业的申请者，要求本科为英语类专业，且HSK 五级≥180分。

（5）对华态度友好，遵纪守法，无犯罪记录。                               

3. Eligibility

(1) Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens with good physical and mental health for studying and living at CUPK.

(2) Applicants must be under the age of 35 and hold a bachelor’s degree or above.

(3) For programs taught in Chinese, applicants are required to have a minimum HSK Level 5 score of 180 or above. For programs taught in English, the applicant’s native language or the official language of their country should be English. If the applicant is from a country where English is not the native/official language, they must provide an IELTS score of 6.5, a TOEFL score of 80, or a TOEFL Essentials score of at least 9 (DI Code: C806). Alternatively, they may submit proof of having completed two or more years of education in English.

(4) Applicants for the translation major are required to have an undergraduate major in English-related fields and obtain a score of no less than 180 in HSK Level 5.

(5) Applicants should be friendly to China, law-abiding, and have no criminal record.

4.申请流程

申请人登录中国石油大学（北京）克拉玛依校区来华留学生在线申请系统（http://cupk.chiwest.cn），注册账号后在线提交申请。

※一个电子邮件地址只能注册一个申请账号，不接受纸质材料或邮件申请。

4. Application Procedures

（1）Online Application

Applications are to be made online. Create your account in the Online Application System for International Students of China University of Petroleum-Beijing at Karamay (http://cupk.chiwest.cn). Complete the application form and upload the required documents during the application period.

※One email address can only be used to register one application account. Paper applications or applications sent via email will not be accepted.

（2）提交申请材料

② 护照签证页（有中国旅居史者须提供所有来华签证页和中国出入境记录的扫描件）

③ 本科毕业证原件和中/英文翻译件（如果尚未毕业，请提供“预毕业证明”，并在入学时提交本科毕业证原件和中/英文翻译件）

④ 本科成绩单原件和中/英文翻译件

⑤ 语言水平证明（HSK五级成绩单，雅思、托福成绩证明等）

⑥ 无犯罪记录证明

⑦ 两封推荐信（推荐人要求副教授以上职称）

⑧ 导师接收函（系统下载，填写个人信息后，邮件联系导师填写接收意见，同时将发送给导师的邮件抄送留学生管理办公室邮箱international-karamay@cupk.edu.cn,如暂无意向导师，申请时可暂不提交导师接收函）

※申请材料为翻译件的需经公证后提交。

※资信证明：自费硕士研究生的资信证明总额度需在47000 元（中文授课项目），50000 元（英文授课项目）。要求其本人账户存款存入相应金额至少1个月以上，如是他人账户，需提供申请人与账户所有人关系证明，经当地公证后到当地中国驻外使领馆进行认证后同时提交。

（2）The Applicants are required to submit the following materials through online application process:

① Photocopy of your Passport Biographical Page

② Scanned copies of all China visa pages (For those with a history of travel and residence in China, scanned copies of all visa pages and entry and exit records are required)

③ Bachelor’s degree Diploma and a translated copy in Chinese or English. (If you have not graduated yet, please get in touch with your current school to provide a testimonial of expected graduation and hand in the Bachelor’s Degree Diploma and the translated copy in Chinese or English at your enrollment to the university.)

④ Official undergraduate transcripts and translated copies in Chinese or English.

⑤ Language Proficiency Certificate (e.g., HSK Level 5 score report, IELTS or TOEFL score report, etc.)

⑥ Non-Criminal Record Certificate

⑦ Two letters of recommendation. (The referees should be professors or associate professors.)

⑧ Supervisor Acceptance Letter. (Please download the form from the system, fill in personal information, and contact the supervisor via e-mail to complete the acceptance section. Simultaneously, copy the email to the International Students Office at international-karamay@cupk.edu.cn. If there is no intended supervisor at the time of application, the supervisor acceptance letter may be submitted later.)

※Translated application materials shall be notarized before submission.

※ Financial support statement: For self-funded master’s students, they need to provide bank statement/bank saving statement within the last one month with a closing balance that demonstrates the guaranteed amount of over 47,000 RMB for Chinese-taught programs, and 50,000 RMB for English-taught programs. If the account belongs to someone else, the applicant must provide proof of their relationship with the account holder. This document must be notarized locally and authenticated by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in the applicant’s country, and both documents must be submitted together.

（3）面试

通过材料初审的申请者进入面试环节。面试时间视报名情况分批次进行，各批次具体面试时间、方式以邮件形式通知。

（3）Interview

Applicants who have passed the initial review of application materials will enter the interview stage thereafter. The specific schedule and format of interview will be notified via email.

  ※ Application deadline: May 30, 2026.

5.录取及报到

我校根据面试结果，综合考虑申请者情况，择优录取。被录取考生持录取通知书及所有申请材料原件报到，报到日期以录取通知书为准。

5. Admission and Registration

CUPK will make admission decisions based on the results of the interview, taking into comprehensive consideration the applicant’s overall profile. Admitted students shall register with the Letter of Acceptance and original copies of all application documents. The registration date will be specified in the Letter of Acceptance.

6.收费标准

（1）报名费：400元人民币。

（2）学费：25000元人民币/年（中文授课）、28000元人民币/年（英文授课）。

（3）住宿费：9000元人民币/年/人（双人间、独立卫浴）。

（4）综合医疗保险费：800元人民币/年。

6. Fees

International students should pay the following fees:

(1) Application fee: 400 RMB.

(2) Tuition: 25,000 RMB/year (instruction language in Chinese); 28,000 RMB/year (instruction language in English).

(3) Accommodation: 9,000 RMB/year/person (twin room with bathroom).

(4) Insurance: 800 RMB/year.

7.奖学金

自治区人民政府奖学金：免交学费、住宿费（双人间）、综合医疗保险费，提供生活补助费人民币1220元/月（按10个月发放）。

符合条件且有意申请奖学金者，在申请系统下载并以中文或英文填写《来华留学生奖学金申请表》。

※奖学金实行动态管理，年度评审合格方可获得下一年度奖学金。

7. Scholarship

Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Government Scholarship:

l Tuition fees waived

l Accommodation fees (twin room) waived

l Comprehensive medical insurance fees waived

l Monthly living allowance of 1,220 RMB (ten months per year)

Degree-seeking students are eligible to apply for the scholarship,and those who meet the requirements and intend to apply for a scholarship can fill in “The Application Form for Admission (Scholarship) for International Students” in Chinese or English.

※ Scholarship is subject to strict evaluation. Continuation of the scholarship is conditional upon passing the annual review can be awarded the following year’s scholarship.
